The video ports on the MBP are outputs - to input video, you would need to use a VGA/DVI to Firewire/Thunderbolt adapter (you don't mention what machines or ports you are planning on using) and software to display it in a window.

May 30, 2016 2:43 AM in response to AndreaMMby Jan Hedlund,You could also (temporarily) remove the internal hard drive and use a universal USB adapter (one example at http://www.newertech.com/products/usb3_universaldriveadap.php, but similar devices can be found in many local computer stores). The adapter with the hard drive can then be connected to another Mac (or a PC with the appropriate software).
