Q: Why can I not download the latest itunes?

Why can I not download the latest itunes thru http://www.apple.com/itunes/download? When click on this link, the web information cannot be smoothly opened and is it a correct link? I also tried "Check for Updates" in Itunes, but failed, and please support.

The purpose of downloading the latest itunes is to recover/update my iPad 2 as it not work well due to I upgrade its iOS.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

You can get the latest version of iTunes from here Get the latest version of iTunes - Apple Support

The latest version of iTunes requires OS X version 10.8.5 or later.

You either have 10.7 (this discussion area) or 10.6.8 (listed in your system details).

You will need to upgrade your OS to use the latest iTunes.
