May 30, 2016 9:52 AM in response to kayleecee05by ChitlinsCC,- ASC runs on JiveSoftware (v.6.0.3.03022e33)
- Jive has a mobile app for Android, Blackberry and iOS > https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jive-mobile/id634499583?mt=8
- To enable this, Jive requires an add-on module to the base software > https://www.jivesoftware.com/resource-library/datasheets/mobile-app-module-jive/
- It costs money to add the module & per user fee
- ASC is one of the (if not THE) largest installs of Jive in the world
- do the math... it would cost a LOT of money for a "convenience" to an already free service (not in the best interests of the Apple shareholders, of which I am one)

May 30, 2016 10:56 AM in response to kayleecee05by ChitlinsCC,You're welcome.
Aside from being cost prohibitive, Apple has HEAVILY customized (read that re-DESIGNED the look and feel - AND - removed many features) the JiveWare, so even if they were to TRY to add the module, it would not "work as Jive designed it to work".
The "cosmetics" alone would no doubt be a problem.
Wait a few days, there may be a pleasant surprise for mobile device users in the weather forecast (not so much for computer users, I fear)
