Q: Iphone 6 water damage, will Apple replace my phone?

I recently went to the beach and my Iphone 6S case was suppose to be water proof and turns out it was a major fail. My phone was wet and super hot, i cleaned it and put it in my bag. When i got home i left it in rice overnight. I removed the sim card to check for a water damage indicator and there was no red dot indicating water damage. However, my phone won't turn on.

If i go to the Apple store will they replace my phone? I just got it less than 2 weeks ago, but i know the warranty does not cover water damage. If they can replace it how much will it cost?

Is it better to take it to my service provider ?
