Q: Photos on iPhone 6s not showing on iPad Pro

I Took pictures on my iPhone 6S and created two new albums on my phone and placed the pictures in the corresponding albums. When I open photos on my iPad Pro (both devices are on iOS 9.3.2), the albums are there, however both albums are blank. The photos are no longer on my iPhone or in the folders I created On my iPhone. Is there something that can be done to restore those photos?

    Pictures normally should not disappear from your phone -

    1. Check deleted items

    2. See if iCloud Photo Library or iCloud Photo Stream is turned on in settings - photos on the phone

    3. Unless you have an iTunes or iCloud backup - it is going to be very difficult if the photos are not found in 1 & 2

    Hi

    Thanks for the response - the original photos are not in my deleted folder  on my phone. When I moved them from my photostream to each album, to my knowledge I did not delete them. I do have iCloud Library and iCloud Photo Stream turned on in settings. I do have iCloud backup, however do I have to do a complete restore on my phone or can I restore only the photos? Will it restore all photos?

    HI im having the same issue and I definitely haven't deleted it I just turned on my iCloud library and now lost my original photos on my ipad

    You did not indicate whether you found those Photos in ICPL or iCPS?
    If you did and you want them back - you do not have to restore the phone

    the photos were on my phone from my photos - not photo stream that I am aware of. Which section of the directions should I be using?
