Q: How to alphabetize Favorites links?

Is there a way to alphabetize links within all those Favorites folders I created?

If not, anyone devised a clever work-around, or AppleScript?

A:

Create a new folder on your Desktop. Command + drag your bookmarks into the folder on your Desktop, then delete favorites in Bookmarks and command + drag them back to the Favorites folder in Safari. If you have more than 1 favorites folder you'll probably have to do it for each, or consolidate into 1 Favorites folder.

If anyone is wondering how I ended up with randomized line, I was doing a major cleanup of saved links. Deleted some and renamed, foreshortened a lot of other address names. Now they're difficult to find, if not alphabetized.

Hi Rysz,

Restoring Bookmarks from iCloud

"If you need to access a bookmark that you deleted within the last 30 days, you can recover it from iCloud.com. Just click Settings, and under Advanced, click Restore Bookmarks."
