Q: My 4 year old i-Pod touch is missing. I tried the Cloud and Apple Support to see how I could activate "Find my device", as I never had this problem before. I cannot do it. I was asked for the serial number, which at the moment I cannot find.

I am 83 years old, and barely computer literate. I seem to have misplaced, lost. my i-Pod touch that I bought about 4 years atop. I cannot find the receipt or serial number. I remember signing up for "find my devise", but can't figure out how to activate this.Unfortunately, the i-Pod is not on. What should I do?

If the iPod is not on, there is no way to track it. You'll have to look for it the same way you'd look for another object, such as a wallet.
