Q: When I try to import the photos from iPhone to my Mac it will import some of them but not all of them. Why is this and how can I get the remainder of the photos?

When I try to import my photos from my iPhone 5C to my Mac OS X version 10.6.8, it will often just import some of them and not all of them.  If I try it again later it usually says that all the photos have been imported. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix the problem?

I think that Laura is getting the same message that I get. I Know of a number of users who are receiving this prompt to update their passwords. I can not get into iCloud.com for the very same reason. I will NOT update my password until I absolutely have to do so. There is no compelling reason for me to get into iCloud.com since I use only a few features of Apple's Cloud.

All important documents, contacts and photos are stored on my Mac, I don't use their email either.

The only way I have found to download them is to go into iCloud.com, change my password , and select and download them from there. I have tried all of the suggestions received and that was my last resort and it was the only one that worked. I will look into upgrading my Mac's OS too.  Thanks for your help.

You're welcome. At some point, I will have to bite the bullet and change mine as well.

Oooh okay yes. I forgot about that. She's just being asked to update it, not because it was typed in incorrectly. I'm running out of creative passwords I can think of that I'll remember haha. I know where you're at. Now if only people would stop trying to collect our personal data, we could go back to typing password in for our passwords just kidding
