Q: Program change received by MS but also by VST?
Hello,
I have some patches within MS that I want to select with my external keyboard via program changes. Those patches contain the VST Sylenth1. The problem is that when I send the program change, MS will receive it, but Sylenth1 will also receive it. MS will select the correct patch, but the patch within the VST will also change to something I don't want. I have searched how to turn off the program change receive within Sylenth1 but there seem to be no such function. Can this be done within MS? Or am I overlooking something?

Hi there,
You may try this.
Go to your concert level and on MIDI will see Send unused program changes to channel strips (that should be check) you need to uncheck.
Give it a try
