WirelessSo the problem is on your MBA running what OS?
Has it been like this for a long time or is it recent?
Did it follow the firmware update a few days ago of an apple router?
What router do you have?
If you do not have airport you should actually post the problem under the hardware or OS as the problem is there.

NotebooksI'm using the latest OS X, 10.11.5. It's been fairly recent, over the past 3 months or so. It didn't follow the apple router firmware update, and my router is a Netgear AC1900 C6300BD

WirelessYour issue is likely to be an upgrade install of the OS.
There is a good doco post on how to fix wireless issues.
Re: My Macbook pro won't stay connected to the WiFi!
IMHO if you did a upgrade install of the OS.. that is more than likely the problem.
Using a non-apple router doesn't help.
