Q: Print Presets Duplex 10.8.5

Hey everyone,

I would like to print duplex on preprinted documents. That's why I set the printjob to duplex and change the order of the pages to be printed (so the first page is on the pre-printed side, whereas the second page gets printed on the blank back side of the preprinted paper) I also change the orientation of the page, so it doesn't get printed upside down. If I save these options as a preset for my colleagues to use it, the preset doesn't save the changed orientation (it's a checkmark in the layout options).

Does anyone know how to fix this or if this issue has been resolved in a later OS X?

Thanks and have a nice day.

Duplex printing varies by printer driver.  It can also vary by application Page Setup or Print command.

Page Setup can frequently resolve the settings with custom print settings.

    It would help to know:

What application are you printing from and what version?

    What operating system?

What printer make and model number?

I am experiencing this problem both in Preview (6.5) and Office for Mac (don't have the version on me right now). They are both the latest corresponding versions on Mac OS 10.8.5.

I've seen this problem on 2 printers, the Xerox ColorQube 8900 and an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdn.
