Q: I am so lost on the whole cloud on my various devices

Is there an Icloud for Dummies book? I feel lost with how to manage all the data and what to back up and what goes in the cloud.

Any suggestions?

No, but start with iCloud Support.

There are many ebooks about iCloud in the iBooks store. Just do a search.

You posted in the iOS forum, but didn't specify what device you're using. Apple has good user guides for iPhones and iPads that cover the basics. You can also start browsing Apple's main website.
