Jun 2, 2016 1:34 AM in response to ipadLYby D.Cohen,Try the recovery mode. Turn your device off, then plug it to your computer with the home button pressed. Keep the Home button pressed until you see the iTunes logo on the screen of your device. After that on your computer you should see the iTunes window saying your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click on the restore button.

Actually I was trying to get recovery mode, but not successful. Since at such a condition, pressing the power button will not get "shundown" bar. So I tried this way: connect ipad to PC then use power button + home to restart it, then hold the buttons until I see the interface. This is the same interface as before restarting, but not the recovery mode.
Anyway, I will try once more and see if I did something wrong.
