Q: Restoring gone wrong

I was trying to restore my IPod Touch 6th Generation to make sure everything that was on it would stay there how it was. When I clicked on the little IPod icon at the top right it then said i could either set the Ipod up as new or choose a specific date of when i had it backed up too set that as default. The choices in this category were two dates from when i backed it up in January and then one just said 'IPod'. I chose the one that said 'IPod' except when i tried to restore it to that, it said I didn't have enough space to restore it on the Ipod. So after this happened I chose a date that said 'January 1st, 2016' and it finally restored it to this. But after it got done restoring, it had how I had my IPod set up in January and not how it was set up as of today. I was wondering if you could help me get how my IPod was set up today and not how it was set up in January.

iPod touch, iOS 9.3.2

In order to restore your device to how it looked today, you would have to have a backup that was made today either to iTunes or iCloud.

Did you make a backup before you erased your device?

Do you have automatic iCloud backups set up? If you do, you are likely to have a more current backup that you can use from iCloud.

    Best of luck,
