Q: key board keys not working

The arrow keys on my keyboard have change recently, any help on how to get the working again.

I Have lost the @ symbol, when I press this the symbol  " Comes up Instead

also my arrow keys do not work.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)

    Hi Beachangel,

     

    You've posted in the ARD form. Your post seems to be more for the iMac forum. You might get better help over there.

     

    Do you have the typing issue in all programs? or just one program?

    Have you tried a reboot of the computer? If so does it help?

    What about unplugging and plugging back in the keyboard? after doing that do you still have the issue?

     

    DO you have another USB keyboard you can test with? if so, does the other keyboard have the same issue?

    Alterably can you try the USB keyboard on another computer? if so, does it the other computer have the  same issue with the keyboard?
