Q: New 6S+, Windows 8.1 64 bit, Error 0xE8000003
I've tried for several days with no results including the TS regarding resetting the lock folder, etc. I've rebooted the PC and iphone after every attempt listed here. I've uninstalled itunes multiple times going so far as to delete any and all folders related to apple, apple computer, from the program files (e86) folders, program data folders, app data folders, common files folders, etc, followed by dumping the trash folder and rebooting several times. I have done this and followed up with a CCleaner test and cleanup of the registry. I've tried 3 cables including the new one, and no luck getting past this error. Since I connected the new phone the first time, the previous 5c will give the same error. Both will connect to another computer (win 7 64 bit) with no problems. I've used the latest installer as administrator as well. I finally restored the iphone with an icloud backup, but there are paid for apps no longer supported I have stored on my hard drive I must install. What's next??
