In the System/iCloud preference pane check the iCloud Drive checkbox:
Now in any Finder window click on the iCloud Drive icon in the sidebar to open the iCloud Drive. Move you documents into it:
If you use Keynote, Pages, Numbers, TextEdit there's a save to iCloud Drive option and that will create its own folder.
