Q: macbook pro keeps crashing

my macbook pro keeps crashing. The first few times I was left with a grey screen but the last time the screen was black. It takes several restarts until it comes back to life, usually by holding the shift button and starting in safe mode. Once in safe mode I can restart and It all works fine for a while but then crashes again. I have tried several fixes including resetting the pram and starting in recovery mode but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatfully received !

    Think about replacing the battery.  At 1028 cycles you have got morer than your fair share from it.

     

    Install the original RAM and see if the performance improves.  Matched GPU pairs are also best.
