Q: Can I use a iTunes gift card to recharge my Apple Music subscription?

thanks Carolyn. I just tried it and it worked fine. It's a bit confusing due to the wording but if anyone is having same worries then the Apple gift card does work if you want to renew your Apple Music subscription. I entered a $30 gift card and then went into my Apple Music apple to renew my account. Just redeem as normal and the funds will be taken from your Apple iTunes store credits(from the gift card). have read that it may not work for people with insufficient funds in apple store credits if there's not enough for the next renewal so ~$25 minimum is required to be available in the iTunes account along with possibly a existing credit card already on file in your Apple Store account(Apparently from other users it's needed but I can't verify that as I had a existing card)

thank you Carolyn for your assistance. I think Apple should perhaps make things clearer and less confusing by perhaps merging their various gift cards and vouchers into one card and system. Although it seems straight forward its not easily understood by the wording and also the similarly named app's which apple can solve simply by merging all the various forms of gift cards/vouchers into one system and allow the Apple Store credits to be used from all of Apples apps; Apple Music, iTunes Store, Apple App Store etc. which would save any confusion about which card is for what app and then whether it can be used and for what...

I really hope Apple acknowledges how unclear and hard to interpret the apple store credit system really is in terms of being user friendly and makes it more streamlined and easier to understand for everyday users from all of apples various apps and sites.
