    Jürgen,

    what have you already tried?

Does the camera show if you open the Import panel in Aperture manually by entering ⌘I?

Are you trying to read directly from the card or is the camera connected by a USB cable?

Try, if the card can be read, if you are using the card reader.

Is the camera fully charged or connected to a power source?  Is the camera in the correct mode for a computer connection?

Do other applications see the camera?  Photos for Mac? Image Capture?

Have you tried, if Aperture is seeing the camera, if yo are using a different card?  Can Aperture see any camera?

Thank for your response, Battery is fully loaded. The Camera is not showing in MacOS, ther is no connected DEvice. Cable is USB. Device is not showing when I import in Aperture. I don+t have a separate Card Reader, so I need the Camera. No Application sees the Camera. This is a new Camera for me, before I had another Model. When I connected this with USB, the Application directly show this DEvice, Mightbe this is a new Camera Model, what has no Link Software? The Camera is the same as a Panasonic Model.

My Panasonic cameras need to be in the mode to display the photos (Wiedergabemodus), when I connect them to a USB port. In the mode for taking photos, they will not show "connected to a computer" on the LCD display.

A separate card reader is not very expensive and makes downloading much faster and avoids complications with the camera software.  Both my iMac and my MacBookPro have a slot with a card reader, btw.

If your camera is essentially a Panasonic Camera, try if the Silkypix software from Panasonic will see the camera.

Was other software included with the camera?

Hello and thanks, this was a key information. When I go to display mode on Caera, the files showed up o my MacBook Pro and I can load the Fotos to Aperture. Great.
