Q: Can you use ipad Pro in a 2016 Silverado with Carplay? Seems to not be working and wondered if you can only use a iphone to use the Carplay app in the truck?

I have a 2016 Silverado with Apple Carplay, however when I hookup my ipad Pro to the USB port....either of them...I don't get the Carplay app on the screen in the truck. So I wondered if ipads are not supported with the carplay app on the vehicle.

    I had this problem with Carplay and my 2015 Honda Fit. I discovered that, if I plugged it in via USB, it would only charge - not play music. So, while it was charging via USB, I hooked it in via Bluetooth and that worked. Do you have that option?
