1. Hold option key > click on wi fi icon on top menu bar > click on wireless diagnostics .
2. Take your cursor on top menu bar ( extreme left side ) , you will view wireless diagnostics
3. Click on wireless diagnostics and choose > open external tool and click on network diagnostics .
4. Network status will be there wi fi , wi fi settings , network settings , ISP , internet , server
green dots must be there for all options . means all connections are perfect .
Try the above steps : if there is any red dot on which option , please post .
