Q: I can't open the iCloud Preference Pane

My Mac does not show as one of my devices in icloud.com> settings. I can't open the Preference Pane. How do I add a device to my icloud account

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Which OS are you using, your profile shows a very old one that doesn't support iCloud.

I am running Yosemite OSX 10.10.5.

The problem IS that the MacBook Pro does not show in the Device List. I can't open the iCloud Preference Pane to sign in to iCloud.

I can sign in to iCloud from my iPhone. It shows the iPhone as the only device.

I need to add the MacBook Pro to the Device List. Is there a way to do that?
Can I do that from icloud.com?

I can sign in to the App Store and I can sign in to iTunes. I have authorized this computer in iTunes and restarted.

The iCloud preference pane still gives an error.

Do you get the same error if you create a new user account on your Mac and open iCloud from there.
