Q: Apple music greys out songs from itunes.

So I have apple music, plus I have a bunch of songs on my itunes that i put on my phone. Problem is.. Do I have to turn off apple music every time i want to add more music??

Another question..

After i got the music on my phone (after a long re-downloading process) They worked for about a week or so then just one morning a lot of my recently added songs were greyed out. How do i fix this? I tried deleting them then going back to itunes to put them on again but everytime it says the song is still on my phone... It's super annoying.

I love apple music, but all these problems are not cool..

    Hello there Kellilynn13,

It looks like you have music that you've imported to iTunes that you'd like on your iPhone and you also have an Apple Music membership. Having all your music available on your iPhone is great and I have some suggestions that can get this going for you.

First let's take a look at this article for a general overview and best practices:

    About Apple Music

When you initially set up Apple Music, you will want to do so from iTunes on your computer.  Apple Music will match all the music you imported to iTunes as long as iTunes also carries the music in the iTunes Store.

This article discusses the process of setting up iTunes and Apple Music so that it can sync your music across your devices.

Sync Apple Music across your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and computer

Remember, iCloud Music must be enabled and if it asks you to Merge or Replace Music, you want to Merge.

Enjoy all your music on your iPhone and take care!
