Q: imessage tries to send when no wifi available and data off since upgrading to v9.3.2.

My phone has started trying to send an imessage as the default *to people I may have months ago sent one imessage to) even when i am not in a wifi zone and mobile data is off.

It never used to do this. Only since upgrading to 9.3.2.

It used to just send as a text if there was no data available.

I could set imessage to off but then it is a pain as some of my friends fall into the trap of it only sending as an imessage - so I dont receive their messages ever. Or people send me photos over imessage and I never receive them.

If I force it to send as a text message it comes up ages later telling me the message failed to send - I can never tell which message it is meaning by then or it is caused an issue becuase my message didnt send in time.

I have send as text if imessage not available swtiched on - but it still causes problems.

I just want it to send as an imessage IF it is connected to a wifi network or mobile data - which is what is used to do.

I DO NOT want it to attempt to send every message via imessage if I have sent a message via imessage in the past when I am not currently in wifi and mobile data is off! I dont want to have to monitor it to see if it has sent or not.

Anyone having the same problem?
