Q: Airplay Unknown error message (-15008)

Hi, I'm using an airplay speaker Philips_Fidelio 049A2C but getting the error message when trying to connect through Itunes on macbook pro. Does anyoneknow the solution for this please?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Hi, I read a discussion in other stereo forum with similar question, and I followed the suggestion to simply unplug and re plug my stereo system and the error 15008 message got resolved.  Not sure it applies to your Phillips but FYI

    I just discovered the same error code using AirPlay on my DENON AW X1200W , however Apple TV connection was not affected at all.
    My solution, I re-set DENON to factory defaults and loaded a backup dat-file with previous settings applied. After restarting DENON, Airplay returned alive. :-)

    Worked for my Pioneer VSX-822 also! So simple. I wish I hadn't wasted hours on other websites trying to find this solution.
