Q: Mac get Hang when putting in attachment

Hi All,

I have a friend who is using Macbook Air 13 inch , the problem is when ever my friend try to put in mail attachment in Safari and Chrome , the Macbook totally get hang and not responding . The only solution is to Force Restart the Macbook.

Have any one here face this problem before ?

Please advise .

If these are large attachments try Mail Drop limits - Apple Support

This has fixed some other problems with sharing options besides them being missing.

Sharing options and Markup are missing after you install OS X Yosemite

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

But maybe there is a misunderstand in the post , my friend mac is actually total Hang or Freeze immediately after her click on the attachment icon , is there also connected to the limit of the mail attachment ?

Please advise .

Is your friend trying to e-mail a web page using the sharing function or are they clicking on a Mail attachment that is trying to load a web page?
