Q: I need to cancel iCloud for an inactive account.

I have 2 iCloud accounts, I only need and use one, but the inactive account still gets charged each month. How can I cancel recurring charges for iCloud?

    Hello suzgibbs,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

Nobody wants to pay for something they aren't using!

You can downgrade the storage you are paying on the iCloud account.

    1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
    2. Click Manage in the lower-right corner.
    3. Click Change Storage Plan in the upper-right corner.
    4. Click Downgrade Options.
    5. Enter your Apple ID password, then click Manage.
    6. Choose a different plan to use when your current storage plan expires.
    7. Click Done.

You can take it back to the free 5 GB that Apple provides.  Complete information can be found here: iCloud storage upgrades and downgrades

    Have a great day!
