My wife's iphone 6 fell in water. So I bought her a new 6s. When I go to iTunes to restore the new phone to get all her music and pics, I keep getting the message unable to connect, need a new version of iTunes. Ive tried to download a new version and nothing happens. I had no issues using her iPhone 6 on this computer. I have an older iMac (iMac 5.1) which is running Lion 10.7.5. The phone is running iOS 9.3.2 and iTunes is the most recent 12.3.2 or 12.2.2. How can i get this to work? I have no intention of buying a new computer, as we only use it for her phone and to pay bills. Can I download a new os (for free) to solve this issue (Yosemite?, El Captain won't install, I've tried it)? Trying to call apple care is ridiculous seeing I'm on hold for 30min at a time. Any help would be great!
