Q: One User Login Issue, from Sleep Mode
I'm the only user on my Mac. When I go to system preferences, users and groups, my name is listed and guest user says off. My issue is when I turn the computer on, I log in automatically. But, when I put the computer in sleep mode, taking it out of sleep mode the computer asks for my password. How do I disable this password option as it should log in automatically.
The software on my mac is OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.5 (15F34)
MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11

Hello rskern!
I definitely understand wanting to save time logging into your MacBook Pro. We can certainly check a few preferences to see if we can get it set up how you'd like it.
To start, what you're seeing currently is actually pretty expected. When you automatically login, and afterwards the screen locks (goes to sleep), it can require your password like if you were switching user accounts.
You might still be asked to log in manually after logging out, switching back from another user account, or locking your screen.
That's from this article: Set your Mac to automatically log in during startup - Apple Support
But we can change the time frame that it needs your password after going to sleep in the Security & Privacy System Preferences. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Once you're there, you can adjust how long until it requires the password again after it goes to sleep or the screen saver begins. Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities and have a good one!
