Q: using Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter for iPad Air 2 Models (MD826ZM/A)

Tried connecting the Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter for iPad Air 2 Model (MD826ZM/A) to 2 different television sets using an open and active HDMI port and all I get is nothing - no connection is found or detected.

Connected the Adapter to the Air 2 first, then powered on the iPad, then powered up TV,switched Source to appropriate input and nothing.

Any ideas/suggestions?

You can have the adapter replaced by Apple - it is an Apple product and the warranty for it should be with Apple. In fact, I had not purchased the adapter from Apple either - I had bought it at an AASP.

There is nothing to be nervous about with a reset as long as you have a backup. As well, since this is a brand new iPad, then maybe there is something amiss with it. Take it to the Genius Bar (make an appointment first using the Apple store app - download that to your iPad) - you're covered by your warranty, so take advantage of it.
