Q: How do I update to the newest version of iSO 9.3. I currently have a very old version - 6.something

I Have a four year old iPad with iOS 6.0. When I truly to update to the new version, I get an error message that I am no longer connected to the Internet when I know I am. Can anyone tell me how to get the update?

Connect your iPad to wall power adapter and make sure Wi-Fi is ON.
Or connect your iPad to your Mac (needs iTunes 12.3.x or later) and update from there.
