Q: Buy Book - Shipping addresses don't work

Photos Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

I have put together a photo book. I choose "Buy Book". Note that I am in Singapore and my Apple ID country and Photos app country are both set to Singapore.

Whether I choose "Add Shipping Address"...

...or choose one of the shipping addresses already there...

...invariably what happens is that I get a nonsensical "Suggested Addresses" selection (usually one suggestion, but sometimes two, depending on the address):

If I select the "corrected" address, Photos complains about it being incomplete:

Choosing "Fix" brings up the Contacts app. Any "corrections" I make there seem to have no influence at all over whether the address is deemed valid. It never is.

Alternatively, if I choose "Ignore Suggestions":

I get an "Unexpected Error" (at least it's not an expected error. A small relief):

This leads to an infinite loop. There seems to be no way for the system to accept any valid Singapore address, and using overseas addresses lead to an "Unsupported Country" error:

Has anyone in Singapore ever successfully ordered a book from Photos?

Singapore is supported and should work - some foreign users have found that minor changes in format or spelling of the city or country can cause similar problems - you can try going to your apple store account (Photos menu ==> print Products account) and re-entering your information and your credit information making sure everything matches - and there is a support site listed here - http://www.apple.com/shop/help/print_products/routing

    Thanks for your help, Larry

I've triple checked the account settings, they all match. I've also tried the "turn off 2FA" trick someone mentioned. That didn't work, so I turned it back on. I've found that support page too, but that didn't get me any further.

I'm now going to call Apple support.

    Calling is a good idea

and the suggestion was not to check the information - it was to Re-Enter the information - often that fixes things - you should try it as suggested

    Thanks Larry

I did actually re-enter everything, to no avail.

Called Apple support this morning. They are aware of the problem. It is a bug in Photos and affects users in several countries. Their support guy said he's already had 30 escalations on it. He will help me export the book in high resolution to put on a USB stick and take to the printers as a workaround.
