Jun 10, 2016 3:19 AM in response to PJRSby Mike Sombrio,★HelpfulI would think the easiest way would be to export the music and photos into folders on an external hard drive and then import them into their respective applications. There have been too many changes to each app to simply move the libraries and expect everything to work properly I think.

I don't know for sure but I wouldn't think so. That's why I suggested exporting all the photos you want to move as JPEG's to an external hard drive and them importing them into iPhoto or Photos. I would do the same with the music except export as MP3.
