Jun 10, 2016 7:21 AM in response to belliott349by Jeff,Ordinarily, I'd suggest removing the hard drive or reformatting it with the "write zeros" option to erase and overwrite the data on it. If you don't have files on it that contain personal information, have you checked as to whether Chicago or the surrounding municipalities have e-cycling programs for proper disposal of older computer hardware? Many large cities have such programs in effect, to eliminate the disposal of what's deemed "hazardous waste" into the landfills.

There are many collectors (such as myself) who would love to snag a good deal on a functioning G3.
