Q: Slide over buggy in landscape mode when home button is on the right

I've been trying to get split screen/slide over to work on my iPad Pro, and it's driving me crazy!

I can't get it to work properly when I am using the Smart Keyboard and the iPad is oriented in landscape mode with the home button on the right side. No matter how much I try, I can't get the tab to show by dragging my finger right to left. I either have to flip the iPad into portrait mode, or in landscape mode with the home button on the left, split the screen, and then flip the iPad back so that I can use the keyboard.

Every once in a while I will succeed in getting the tab to appear, but it is extremely rare.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and, if so, have you solved it?

Thanks!

iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.2

    Hello idiot3qu3,

Issues like the one that you are facing are just bugs that a number of people may or may not be experiencing on their iPads. It should be ironed out in a future iOS firmware update. Until then, you'll just have to work in another orientation or just use landscape with the home button facing to the left.

    Hope this helped,

    Thanks, Ramal. You're correct.

It is a bug, as, when I flipped to portrait mode to see what happened when I dragged up from the bottom it didn't bring up control center. A quick reboot brought that functionality back.

Although...right after I typed this up, it happened again. Maybe there's a hardware issue with my iPad  I'll take it in and check.

    Thanks!
