May 14, 2016 6:17 AM in response to Rizzler78by Macarones,I found another temporary solution that works!!!
I had the same problem. All details correct, more than enough money on my bank account but it still wasn't good enough for them. And the weird part is that I've used this card heaps of times for purchases on app store. And since all I wanted to do was to be able to download free apps I came up with a temporary solution that might work for you guys too. I just changed my method of payment to "none", which means I didn't need to put in any card details that could be declined. And that worked!!! All of a sudden I could download free apps again without needing anything else except for my itunes password. I definitely recommend you guys to try it. Best of luck to all of us that has unnecessary issues with apple

Jun 11, 2016 1:45 AM in response to MatJ333by CelisseFromOC,I'm been having this same issue with my account for the past few days on my 5s. It's driving me crazy because the app updates are piling up on my phone & it won't let me update them!! I don't know where everyone is seeing the "none" option for credit card info, because when it tells me i have to update my credit card info, there is NO "none" option; just visa, mastercard, amex, discover. As in on my iphone there's not a "none" option.
It's driving me crazy what else can i do???? I've tried 3 cards, all 3 get declined & I've never had this issue before!!

Jun 11, 2016 3:22 AM in response to CelisseFromOCby King_Penguin,When are you looking for the 'none' option ? If when trying to download something you won't get it, you need to just log into your account and see if the option shows : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support

Aug 2, 2016 1:29 PM in response to Aeolus Windwalkerby perizerb,i dont get it.... i made a purchase that couldnt pass for any reason... why apple didn't reject it and just gave me the app and now i owe to them and cant download not even the free apps? its ridiculous... if there weren't money in the card they shouldnt give me the app...

Aug 4, 2016 1:47 AM in response to MatJ333by Yo yo master,i fixed my one... It's because you don't have enough money to cover your altogether/ accumulative purchase cost. What I mean is Apple is slow to show you that you spent money on an apple product so will charge you in big lumps. Solution--put more money in your credit/debit card more than you think you can spent. Hope this helps!

Sep 23, 2016 3:00 PM in response to userremovedby 06macgregor03,c. Card info was good. still, sec code wouldn't stay in field. then, it kept telling me my selection of card type doesn't match the number. Exp date didn't input, as well. At first, it appeared to store the info. Then, declined, declined......
I tested my card at a real store nearby, Fine, debit AND credit both. Old email also persists on iTunes
Anyone had a similar experience 2 days after having iPad restored (to factory settings)??
I had changed email and pw at Apple. amy

Sep 23, 2016 3:03 PM in response to runboy135by 06macgregor03,For sure. I got 4,000 + responses, none of which addressed it, and same useless links to forms, etc. down the list.

Sep 23, 2016 3:12 PM in response to wrmclellanby 06macgregor03,thank you for your Straight enough answer to heal my concerns right now.
I had the iPad restored to factory settings when a download caused lockdown with frozen message from ITUNES.
this restore business may very well wipe out info that the security masters of The Universe no longer acknowledge.
somedays, hours & hours sucked away dealing with Apples.
