Q: Can Single App Mode prevent certain apps from working correctly?

I am trying to run Reverse Remote app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/reverse-remote/id438057551?mt=8 in Single App Mode on the iPod touch. This app listens to other devices running the same app, and should play music from its own library that's been chosen from those other devices (acting as a Controller). So its basically just lets other devices remotely turn on music over wi-fi. But it doesn't seem to work while being in Single App Mode. The music is not playing at all, and the app itself is very slow. Seems like Single App Mode prevents any communication between the devices.

It works perfectly in Guided access, and with Single App Mode being off.

Does anyone know if its possible to make it work with Single App Mode?

Thank you!

iPod touch, iOS 9.3.2

I think you answered your own question. It seems that you want two apps to work, Music and the reverse app to work in singe app mode. My definition you can only have one app in working in single app mode.
