Q: How can I solve the error "The volume has the wrong case sensitivity for a backup."?

It seems that Time Machine requires a case-sensitive filesystem.

    Answering my own question here:

Volume should be formatted to be case-sensitive if you want to use it with Time Machine:

    • Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive, Journaled)

If it was formatted with (default) case insensitive option, it should be reformatted.
