Q: This is not really a question but a comment about Magic Mouse loosing connection.
My Magic Mouse came with the Late 2012 21.7" iMac. Since the first battery replacement there was no connectivity issues using Energizer re-chargeable Batteries until the past week or so. After reading several of the forums many suggested original "Apple Batteries"; one suggested Duracell. I live over 90 miles from the nearest Apple Store and NO Duracell locally. Because there has been no problem with the Energizer, I bought Energizer Alkaline. Still the same problem, so, I checked to see how firmly they fit. By feel fit tight. While I had the cover off the mouse checking the fit I noticed lint in the cavity of the + end of the battery case. I removed the batteries and found the + terminal of the mouse appeared dull......Cleaned them with a pencil eraser then q-tip dipped in alcohol. The mouse has stayed connected after 2 days. No longer frustrated!!
