May 17, 2016 3:56 PM in response to fish_boyby Weez ,Thanks, Fishboy, you said exactly what the problem appears to be! I contacted AppleCare again today. The technician was courteous and clueless. She spent a long time building up my ego and a short time giving me any answers. Not her fault, I know. I don't care whose fault it is really; we just need a fix for the 9. push glitch in our iPads and iPhones!

We have multiple users experiencing ActiveSync push "issues". The iPhone simply stops monitoring the Exchange email account folders (Inbox, Sent Items, etc...) and new emails are not pushed to the phone.
Apple support explained to me that the workaround is to have users manually check for new messages by unlocking the phone, opening the mail app, and pulling down to refresh the Inbox. This is obviously not a viable solution.
There has been no commitment (from Apple) to release a long-term fix for this issue. We are struggling with next steps at this point. Unless Apple fixes this issue we may need to migrate iPhone users to Android.
*Note: just installed 9.3.2 on a few test phones to see if the issue is resolved. Nothing in the release notes but fingers have been sufficiently crossed...
What is really strange about your explanation, and not discrediting it, is that Microsoft seems to not make any mention of this specific issue that you have listed although they are aware of calendar issues with iOS 9.x.

May 18, 2016 6:52 AM in response to BBoissby fish_boy,rvcprs - Unfortunately, we have not solved the issue yet. I'm not sure there's much we can do about it at this point. It feels like Apple's issue to fix.
BBoiss - That article does not apply to our environment as we are running Exchange 2010 SP3. I believe the problem is a bug with the Apple mail app's ActiveSync implementation. Android devices do not exhibit any of the same behavior when connected to the same Exchange environment, and Outlook for iOS also works fine.

May 18, 2016 7:30 AM in response to Weezby Weez ,Whoops, for some reason my last reply was posted instead of a new one. Will try again. 9.3.2 has done nothing to help my email push problem on my iPad Pro. If some of us will please go to 'apple product feedback' and let Apple know our problem, maybe they will come up with a fix.

May 18, 2016 8:11 AM in response to fish_boyby rvcprs, thanks dude. maybe we should just wait for the updates in facebook app or ios itself. its frustrating. all push notifications are working in my phone except facebook which only shows badges.

May 18, 2016 8:26 AM in response to rvcprsby Weez ,Users are experiencing push failures in all sorts of apps. If you read Fishboy above, this may explain why it is not a particular app problem but an Apple push problem. And the last IOS update was yesterday, and it hasn't done a darn thing to help.

May 18, 2016 1:27 PM in response to titanium155by Dezhark,HI, hope someone would be able to assis me.
I have an iphone 6. Two apps that is annoying me tremendously. Twitter and Strava.
Notifications is enabled. So the badge icon appears when I get a tweet reply or direct message but when i go into the app, it does not show the item I am being notified of ie dm or tweet. But when i go onto the website and view the notification THEN only the badge icon dissapears. Anything I can do to fix this?
it started when I deleted some apps to make some space (twitter l, facebook and strava) which I reinstalled. Facebook works fine ie I get a notification and within the app I can go into that notification and it clears. But not twitter and strava.
Thanks anyway
