Q: Can't print to network printers after 10.11.5 update

Since updating to OS X 10.11.5, I am unable to print to any network printers.

This problem did not exist in OS X 10.11.4 and earlier.

I have tried deleting and re-adding each printer.  The printers are created successfully, but when sending a job to the printer, it changes to "Paused" status and will not print.

I also reset the printing system, but this did not solve the problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same issue.   I have tried "resetting the printing system", adding and removing the printer,  as well as uninstalling/reinstalling the (latest) printer driver (& restarting) several times.  My printer is an HP 8600 Pro combo scanner/printer.  The weird thing is that I am able to scan with it just fine. However when printing, the queue always gets stuck (indefinitely) while the printer appears "In Use" with orange dot in the Printer & Scanners tab under System Preferences.

In the Apple System Log (ASL) Messages this error appears all the time (not so sure how relevant that is..) :

[date + time] + "com.apple.preference.printfax.remoteservice[663]: CGContextSetFontSize: invalid context 0x0. If you want to see the backtrace, please set CG_CONTEXT_SHOW_BACKTRACE environmental variable"

Printer error log (doesn't help much IMHO) :

    "Source: /var/log/cups/error_log

I also saw "Bonjour Malfunction" appear a couple of times somewhere (I can't remember which screen though)

    I'm having the same issue.
I've deleted the printer and tried reinstalling it as a different printer and it doesn't help.
It lets me print the test page from my computer, but nothing else.
It says its connected and all that.

Don't know why and how ... but I can print on my stand-alone network-printer since maybe 2 weeks. I did nothing special ... after clicking on print by mistake my printer was printing - oh my god, 8th wonder of the world. It works on both systems (iMac and MacBook).

The only updates were iTunes and RAW Comp. since 30 days.... so don't know why it works again.
