Q: Unwanted Large Text

I have been observing large unwanted text, on screen, that leads to the watch becoming un-responsive and thus forcing a reboot of the Watch OS. Oddly, I've also seen a trend of this large text behavior when changing a band. Has anyone else seen this.

Apple Watch, watchOS 2.2.1

    Hi Donald

Zoom (an accessibility feature) may be enabled on your watch and you may have accidentally zoomed in by tapping the display in a particular way (including when changing a band).

To return the screen contents to normal size, try double-tapping the display with two fingers.

    • Afterwards, if you would prefer to to disable Zoom:
      • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Accessibility > Zoom - turn off.
      • Or on your watch, go to: Home screen (via a single press of the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Accessibility > Zoom - tap and turn off / on.

    • If the Accessibility Shortcut has been enabled and configured for Zoom, you can also enable and disable the feature more conveniently:
      • On your watch: quickly press the Digital Crown (the round button) three times.

    • To configure the Accessibility Shortcut:
      • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut (at the bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.
