Q: Airdrop issuess

i have been trying to use this feature and unable to do so. I own an iPhone 6s And iPad Air 2, my bro has iPhone 6s and we are unable to air drop. When air drop enabled and everyone selected the contacts do not appear. All devices are running the latest version of ios. We have tried Turning on airplane mode and even disconnect wifi and Bluetooth then select airdrop --> Everyone from this position and still unable to see contacts to share the items.

any assistance will be appreciated

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

AirDrop has been known to be finicky. I have had issues with it myself. This article provides some suggestions:

Just to be clear, according to:

How to use AirDrop with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

You need to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on all devices. If you want to share with your contacts, you also need to sign in to iCloud.

Have you done all that?
