Q: Certain apps (Tumblr, Soundcloud, YouTube, and Instagram) aren't saying I have a wifi connection when I clearly have one. Why is this and how can I fix it?

You've also tried to reset the network settings and reinstall the apps, which are great troubleshooting steps. I can definitely understand the importance of being able to access the internet so you can get the most of those applications. If you haven't already, a good isolation step would be to see if this connection issue within those apps persists when you are using cellular data. Also, check to make sure you're able to browse and connect to Safari on your iPod.

Beyond that, you'd want to look at backing up and restoring your iPod as a new device. From there, you can reinstall the apps and see if the same thing is happening. This will help to rule out existing software issues/corruption.
