    Then you would need to turn off iCloud photo library on those other devices, but by doing that you also couldn't access the photos in the cloud from those other devices. Why would you not want photos from all devices to be stored in the cloud and available everywhere.

    My husband unlinked the icloud photos and backup from the kids ipad to help with available space. Now I am getting this message at the top of my icloud.com photos area "Icloud photo library has been disabled- you have 27 days remaining to make complete copies of photos and videos". I've turned on icloud photo on all devices and it still has not linked my photos for the past 2 days from my iphone into icloud library.

    He hasn't unlinked the library, he's set it to self delete in 30 days. To stop this go to settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage > Photos. I think you need to do this before we go any further.

    You were right, I didn't think I would have to also turn it back on in the manage storage area- but it worked! Thank you!
