Q: Unable to share via airdrop

i have been trying to use this feature and unable to do so. I own an iPhone 6s And iPad Air 2, my bro has iPhone 6s and we are unable to air drop. When air drop enabled and everyone selected the contacts do not appear. All devices are running the latest version of ios. We have tried Turning  on airplane mode and even disconnect wifi and Bluetooth then select airdrop --> Everyone from this position and still unable to see contacts to share the items.

any assistance will be appreciated

    Hi Barry,

     

    I know that it's handy to be able to share items with nearby people, and AirDrop is certainly an easy way to do so. I'll be happy to provide you with some resources to help you out with this.

     

    Note that when you're selecting which contacts to share with, this is simply turning on AirDrop and adjusting the setting. To actually share something to nearby contacts, check out our article here:

    This should get you on track to sharing stuff with your brother again.
