Q: Cancal i music

I have just spent 90 minutes, (including 30 minutes waiting on the phone without response) , trying to cancel my subscription to Imusic. Online and telephone support did not work. I even contacted my bank to discontinue the payments. No go. I feel trapped in a service that is not satisfactory compared to competitors and seems totally impossible  to stop!!

    Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities and for the details of what's happening with your Apple Music Membership. I understand that you're wanting to cancel your membership. I can certainly go over how to turn off your Apple Music Membership subscription. 

     

    You can turn off automatic renewal from your iOS device or from iTunes on your computer. This will cancel your Apple Music Membership. You'll want to check out the section for "Turn off Automatic Renewal" in this article: Manage your Apple Music membership on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support

     

    There's also one piece of information I wanted to highlight from this article for you:

     

    Your membership might renew if you don't turn off Automatic Renewal more than 8 hours before your renewal date.
