Q: How do I change language prior to set up

I have just acquired a second hand MacBook Pro. It had remnants of someone elses account (not iCloud or iTunes, I checked prior to buying) so I erased the hard drive and reinstalled the operating system. The only problem is it is now in Hungarian (I don't speak Hungarian!). There is an option on the first page of set up to select the country (to United Kingdom) but there doesn't seem to be an option to change the language to English and it wants to continue in Hungarian, which is no use to me. I am aware that once I get in to the system proper I can change the language, but I can't get that far. This is my first Mac. In Windows there is an option to change the language at the start of set up, but where is it here?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), null
