Q: Email Settings?

I have a 447mb file of an edit from Final Cut Pro.  The file is 3:39 long.  What are the best settings to use to make this file small enough to email but still decent looking when being viewed?

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), iOS 9.3.2

The smallest MPEG-2 you can squeeze out of it.  Not sure you're going to get something small enough to email.  Why not use a free service like DropBox or something?

I did this edit for a non profit organization that wants to send a little video to their contributors so they can see the renovations that are being done.  I suppose if I can't get something that looks decent, they may just have to post it to YouTube and send out the link to everyone.  I'll try what you suggested tonight.  Thanks!

RThe YT link solution makes sense. You can upload it via FCP and bypass Compressor and not have to worry about playability on different platforms and different devices.

Tell them not to do it. Tell them to post it on YouTube or something and email a link to the video instead. They're asking for all kinds of headaches if they actually email out the video... I say this as the network administrator of a non-profit... And if this turns out to be a video for my non-profit, I'll go absolutely ballistic if they actually email the video. We've told them (the marketing department) time and time again not to do that crap... That's how you get our domain blacklisted.
